Oops! I missed a day!!

I missed a day in giving thanks so today there's two!

Day 7: I'm thankful for internet banking.
I don't know what I'd do if I had to wait until the next month to get a statement so I could balance my accounts. How did Mom do it!? I suppose that if we didn't have atm's and bank cards to use it wouldn't be so hard. But since we do I don't think I would survive with out the the internet to constantly check my account!

Day 8: I'm thankful for smart well behaved kids.
I'm so happy that my kids are smart. It makes parent teacher conferences so much easier. All A's and a couple of B's between the two girls. I asked Lily's teachers if there were any concerns and they all said "No, she's an absolute delight to have in class".  I'm just so grateful that my kids are smart and well behaved. I don't know what I'd do if they were hellions at home AND at school. I will gladly take their attitudes and shenanigans at home as long as they do well in school. So proud of you my Monkeys!!!

What are you thankful for today?

Kisses
CoreyJo

Isn't it so great & easy when your child naturally does well in school? I for one am thankful beyond words really.

  3. Don't worry for missing a day. The Great Turkey won't hold it against you on the 24th! :P

No matter how hard it sounds, kids are always the replica of their parents. If you give them a good platform, they might step away for a while but they will always come back to it. Hopefully, kids who didn't get this platform from their parents will get it from somone else later on (a teacher, a coach, a mentor, a boss, etc.) or built it on their own. Unfortunately, some will never find it, and its not necessarily entirely their fault.

So trust the platform you and the Sailor are giving to your monkeys. They will step away from it once a while but, if that platform is realy solid and built on love, respect and understanding, they will always come back on it.

I'll be putting someting in the mail for you this week..........

  4. Internet banking is a wonder, a wonder how more people dont get ripped off that is. Every one in a ten accounts are hacked at some stage according to the banking foundation, which is pretty scary.

I'm thankful for cheese on toast!

  5. I am thankful for the same things. I would be lost without my internet banking and I too have been blessed with wonderful kids. It makes me so proud when someone tells me how well mannered and nice my boys are

    1. Mynx,

I know what you mean about getting the compliments on my kids... I can't wait for the day their public behavior also becomes their home behavior.. although by then they will probably be moving out, so I should be careful what I wish for I guess.
