I figured I had better get Kiera's birthday post out before Lily's birthday gets here. So with out further ado...
♫♪♫ HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIERA ♫♪♫
It's a special day when a little girl turns seven. Why? you ask. Hell I don't know, but it's her birthday. Since her birthday falls on St. Patrick's Day we always try to make the day about her and not the Irish holiday (that comes later in the evening). This year is the last year we will be celebrating the girls birthday parties on the same day. Due to circumstances and work schedules the party won't be until later in April. However we have always made sure to celebrate each birthday individually too. We always have cake, pie, or some sort of dessert with dinner and give them at least one present. The other presents come the day of their party. Anyways, here are the delicious cup cakes I made and Kieras happy face.

Butter Yellow Cake with Dark Chocolate Fudge Frosting |
|
A 3D birthday card. Enough to cross your eyes, but she loved it. |
|
A new night gown for the warmer season. Big hit!! |
|
So pretty.. |
|
You'd think we gave her the world...and that's why I love her. |
|
I was too busy taking pictures to know what, but something was obviously funny... |
Thank you to the other Canning household for helping to celebrate Kiera's birthday.

aw how sweet so happy her birthday was a hit
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely a wonderful day. Thanks Becca :)
DeleteHappy 7th Birthday, Kiera!!! Thank you for sharing your party!! I LOVE the Aqua Doodle and the expression your face...priceless...pass the cupcakes please :)
ReplyDeleteHi Robin! Kiera said thank you!! and then asked who you are! LOL!! Thanks Hon :)
DeleteCoreyJo:
ReplyDeleteTell your tad bit O' fluff, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! (and at least pretend to mind her damn mother...it's an art usually mastered by the favored son, but she might wanna give it a whirl).
Rafa
P.S. Love the nightgown. I think I might have that same print......uhmmm, in a bigger, more manly version, OF COURSE!!!
Rafa,
DeleteKiera says thank you. She scowled when I told her you said to behave, and they both giggled to the point of tears when I told them you have a night shirt like it. Thanks for bringing smiles to our faces.

*whispers to Kiera*
ReplyDeleteJust act the perfect child...when her back is turned,THAT'S when you cause all sorts of havoc. When she turns back 'round, butter her up with a big ol' tooffie grin...works every time!!!
If that fails, blame it on the dog. (I.E. I DID fold my clothes, Red came in and mussed 'em all up! Will you help me, PLEASE?!?!?!?).
My childhood motto was; pick your battles, a bit of sugar always wins the day...run like the Devil!
Remember, 3/4's of every battle is won with smarts (the other quarter, sheer will)--
Be blessed, Little One--
Rafa
Thank you very much Rafa, for trying to teach my child even more ways to vex me!! Only problem is I'm always in the room when she folds her clothes. She's not allowed to do it in her room, she lays down and goes to sleep if she does anything other than play in her room. You also forget, I'm a MOTHER!! I have eyes in the back of my head. Plus the kids lie like their father, not worth a damn!!!

ReplyDeleteWhatever, my Mom still tries talking crap like that...the WHOLE family knowing it's a crock of crappola when it comes to the stuff I do right in front of her.
She bristles and bemoans, but inside, she's guffawing. I know she is....I JUST KNOW IT.
Rafa
P.S. lying is a strong word...I prefer stretching the truth just a tad bit past go.
